Scholars Conference in Tampere 2003:
Second ACTeN Scholars Conference was arranged in Tampere November 13th – 14th. It was attended by 240 participants from 14 European states, USA and Canada. The programme included 4 keynote sessions and 4 working sessions with 18 prepared presentations by 22 speakers and intense discussions.
The main theme of the conference was “Information Society and Digital Media for All — NOW”, session themes:
- Making business with contents on Digital Media platforms
- Information Society Practices: How do behaviours and markets develop?
- New initiatives for learning and storytelling
- Looking for Future Solutions
All full papers and most of presentations have been published online. A more detailed conference report and conference publication are under preparation.
