Ildikó Balassa is a system
organiser. She is employed by SZÁMALK
Training Co. as a director of vocational training. Her special interest in
SZÁMALK's present international projects is in the development of tools and
methods of electronic education together with the establishment of teachers' and
pupils' competencies in these

Donát Borsodi is a software
developer. He studied mathematics and is also trained in the methodology of
distance education.
He co-owns and manages Profi-Media
Ltd. - a successful Hungarian SME in the field of quality eLearning CD-ROM
developing and publishing. Profi-Media Ltd. is involved in several EU
projects. |

Edit Halász has a degree in
electrical engineering. She is an associate professor of the Budapest University
of Technology and Economics, where she is also a lecturer. In the last six years
she worked for the multinational telecommunications firm Ericsson Hungary Ltd.
as Business Development Consultant of the CEO. In Framework 4 and 5 she was the
Hungarian leader of four EU IST projects in the field of telecommunications and
information dissemination. |

Mártha Hunya deals with the
application of computer tools in the field of teaching, especially in teaching
foreign languages. Presently, she is the
expert and project manager of the SchoolNet Programme Office (the coordinating
office of state programmes with the aim of PC and Internet for all Hungarian
schools). She is also the Hungarian coordinator of the IST project Celebrate and
expert of the SCALE project.

János Ivanyos has a
degree in economics. He is one of the founding members of the Memolux Ltd.
and manages the IT services and outsourcing solutions of the company. He is
the project manager of EU programmes since 1995. In 1997, he contracted ESPRIT,
later the PASS project. Memolux Ltd. is the consortium member of the
MEDIA-ISF programme (Media sans Frontiers) of
FP5.

Originally Pál Kaszai has been
trained as a geologist and cartographer. He has a Ph. D. degree in military
science and in Earth science.
As a Chief Architect of the
SYNERGON Informatics Plc., he is engaged in eLearning activity and training
portfolio of the company. SYNERGON is the largest Hungarian IT company in the
country. Dr. Kaszai is well-experienced and has a special interest in LMS and
courseware development.

Tünde Kállai has a degree in
literature and culture management and did postgradual studies as an EU expert.
She works in Brussels since 1998 where she is the owner and the managing
director of a consultancy company, called HUNGARICA Sprl. Main fields of the
company are: ICT in public administration, health, education, environment, rural
development.
She is the manager of the following
EU projects: AFORO IST-2001-37258, RURAL WINS IST-2002-39107, PROCEED -PHARE
2001.

Miklós Kriván is working for Matáv in its training section of the
telecommunications area since 1991, after he graduated at the Technical
University of Budapest. He is the Deputy Head of the Training Center which is
the internal training service provider for Matáv. He is also in charge of
eLearning services and methodologies.
Miklós Kriván is also involved in some projects running with external
training partners to explore possibilities of cooperation in
eLearning.

Judit Lendvay has a degree in
economics and later in sociology. She is
employed by the Hungarian Association of Content Industry as a project manager
of ACTeN (IST FP5 programme). She was the main organizer of ACTeN's BRT in
Budapest.
She has also an own company -
EMPIRE Communications - which organizes eFestival, the Hungarian
multimedia contest (www.eFestival.hu). |

Gábor Rácz is editor-in-chief in
the online editorial office of the National Textbook Publishing Co. He has a
degree in electric engineering and is doctor of technical sciences. In further
studies he is trained as a philosopher and teacher.
In the leading textbook publishing
househe now has the mission to organise and launch its electronic
publishing activity (electronic textbooks, eLearning,
etc.).

István Simonics has a degree in
electrical engineering and is trained as a teacher in engineer ing. He is a
project manager at MTA SZTAKI (Computer and Automation Research Institute,
Hungarian Academy of Sciences) and an associate professor of the Budapest
Technical College.
He has been involved in several
international projects (World Bank, PHARE) and other EU programmes as a manager
or an expert. He has been working for vocational training more than 20 years as
well as being an establishing member of Hungarian Distance Education
Council.

István Szakadát is a
mathematician-engineer as well as a sociologist. He is lecturer at the Budapest
University of Technology and Economics in sociology. His main interest is in the
development of digital culture.
Presently, he performs R&D
activity as a chief scientist for the leading Hungarian Internet providing
company, Axelero (belonging to the MATÁV-Group). He is also involved in the
Media Training and Research Center of the Budapest University of Technology and
Economics.
